Kayla Boardman Spent Summer Abroad in Ecuador

Columbia State Community College student, Kayla Boardman of Columbia, spent the summer with Ecuador as their classroom, participating in a study abroad program provided by the Tennessee Consortium for International Studies.

Boardman and other participants of the study abroad program learned from Columbia State professors, as well as other Tennessee Board of Regents institutions. Students also earned college credit-all the while soaking in the culture and camaraderie of a foreign land.

This summer, students traveled to multiple international destinations, including Galapagos Islands, England, India, South Africa and Greece.
