Columbia State Community College is a two-year college serving a nine-county area in southern Middle Tennessee with five campuses, including Columbia, Williamson, Lawrence, Lewisburg and Clifton. Columbia State was established in 1966 as Tennessee's first community college and is committed to increasing access and enhancing diversity at all five campuses. Columbia State EMS Programs Surpass National Licensing Averages

The Columbia State Community College Emergency Medical Services program graduated its Fall 2018 classes with first-attempt credential exam pass rates exceeding national averages on the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician exam. For the first time in Columbia State history, the Emergency Medical Technology-Basic evening class first-attempt pass rate was 100 percent.
